This is a pdf file with the knitting pattern. 

Geillis Duncan is an easy triangular shawl knitted from the bottom up. This pattern includes written instructions and video tutorials to guide you every step of the way.

YARN:
The shawl is highly versatile, allowing you to use any type of yarn, regardless of its thickness. The yarn you choose will influence the style and size of the finished shawl.

For this pattern, the yarn used is Princess from magicloop.pl.
Gauge: 11 stitches x 18 rows = 10 x 10 cm in stockinette stitch after blocking.
However, gauge is not critical for this project. You can opt for a different yarn weight, but note that the yarn thickness will significantly affect the shawl’s size and overall character.

Needles: 6 mm or any suitable for the chosen yarn

CONSTRUCTION:
The Geillis Duncan shawl is knitted from the bottom up to create a triangular shape. Picots are incorporated as you knit, rather than being added at the end.

LANGUAGE:
The pattern is available in both Polish and English, with PDFs and video tutorials featuring English subtitles.

This pattern includes comprehensive video instructions, guiding you step-by-step from start to finish. Written instructions are also provided. Even a skilled beginner will find this project manageable and enjoyable.

The pattern is repeatable, allowing you to choose the shawl’s size—whether you plan it or decide as you go.

The shawl in the photo was made using 500 m of Princess from Sparkling Yarn Collection 50 g / 125 m from Magicloop (https://magicloop.pl/pl/p/PRINCESS-Ruggine-rdza%2C-zloto-srebrna-fantazyjna-wloczka-Magicloop-/7352). During testing, we also experimented with different yarn combinations from Magicloop, such as Cuzco, Samantha Gold, and Il Punto Forte.
