Opis
Geillis Duncan is an easy triangular shawl, knitted from the bottom up.
The pattern is suitable for any knitter, from an experienced person to a beginner who is happy to learn new things. I will lead you by the hand every step of the way.
There is a cheaper version of this pattern available (without video tutorials) for those who are experienced knitters; see the PATTERNS section of the shop.
YARN: The shawl is quite universal, so you can use any yarn, regardless of its thickness. The yarn used will determine the style and size of the shawl.
NEEDLES: suggested for a chosen yarn or a bit bigger if you are a tight knitter. You will also need another pair of needles, one size smaller than those used for the shawl. They will be needed for the last row. For the shawl in the picture above, I used approximately 400m – 4 skeins of Alize Maxi Superlana Yarn, 100 g = 100 m, Super Bulky (5-6 wpi), color grey, and knitting needles 10mm for the shawl and 9mm for the last row.
Measurements of the shawl from the picture above: wingspan: approx. 190cm, depth: approx. 103cm
MATERIALS NEEDED: Yarn, circular knitting needles in two sizes, preferably with a quite long line, tapestry needle, blocking pins and mat, stitch counter
Construction: Geillis Duncan is a triangular shawl, knitted from the bottom up.
